Ooh boy there's some drama going on today! Olympic viewers are divided when it comes to women's boxing, since there's a Algeria boxer named Imane Khelif who won her match after her opponent, Angela Carini from Italy gave up 46 seconds into the match. Carini forfeited the match after getting hit and feeling intense pain in her nose. She gave a statement after the match stating she cried because she was devastated that she had to forfeit the match. This was her quote: "I am not here to judge or pass judgment," Carini said. "If an athlete is this way, and in that sense it's not right or it is right, it's not up to me to decide. I just did my job as a boxer. I got into the ring and fought. I did it with my head held high and with a broken heart for not having finished the last kilometer."

If people took the time to research this they would know that gender reassignment is banned from Algeria, and unfortunately if Imane was truly a trans woman she would have been murdered. She was born female, and some people born a specific sex may have different chromosomes than the usual XX/XY. Anyway it's more drama to talk about!

Are you a fan of emulation? If so, which emulators do you use? I have been using Retroarch as my main emulator, with a few others whenever I go to work on my Sonic hacking projects. I use Emulicious for debugging, and for when I want to play Sega Genesis games I use Blast em since the Genesis cores for whatever reason run super slow in Retroarch.

This didn't happen this month, in fact it happened back in April. I actually watched footage of this derailment a few months ago and thought it was crazy this rail fan caught it on video. Welp, turns out the 17 year old rail fan was the cause of the derailment. This happened in Nebraska, all I can do is shake my head. The teenager is being tried as an adult, this is federal law too since it involves the railroad industry. He wanted the clout, now he'll be doing the time. Word of advice, don't do something stupid like this for views. But hey, that's never going to stop. There's always going to be someone wanting the next viral video and will do something dumb for likes and views.

During the opening ceremony for the Olympics we got to see the last supper being depicted by drag queens. Needless to say all the religious people got offended and felt that it was a parody of the last supper and it was mocking their religion. The performers say that this wasn't their intentions and they were just performing. I've been seeing religious friends on Facebook complaining about the ceremony and my local news pages have been sharing their articles about it. The organizers of the Olympics came out and apologized for the ceremony early this morning. Here's Reuters article on the matter if you're interested in reading about it.

Yo I'm Darkblaze. I'm 34 years old and I'm a nerd and a gamer. I love forums, I think they're way cooler and better than Discord or Reddit. I made Drama Zone as a place to spread gossip, without having to worry about admins taking down the board. On Reddit you've got admins that can pull the plug on your subreddit, and on Discord you've got a corporation that can delete your server. Plus if Discord goes down, goodbye server! Any who that's why I made Drama Zone. I prefer to play retro games and prefer to play single player games.

Doesn't matter what flavor of Linux you're using, I want to know about it here. Which distro is your favorite? How long have you been using Linux? Do you dual boot with Windows or Mac? Anyways I've been using Lubuntu on my main computer. I need to keep Windows 11 for programs that won't work on Linux, plus I can't use my Elgato capture device since I use Linux via a USB drive and thus my computer won't recognize another USB device plugged in. I want to get an additional SSD in the future for my Linux install, but for now I'll just make due with what I've got.

Maybe this thread doesn't really belong on a drama community, but it's my community and I feel like posting about it here. Lately I've ran into problems with games. First off, the damn hard drive I bought for my Xbox 360 E isn't being detected by my console. I'm going to plug it into my computer and see if it's formatted correctly. It's a third party hard drive, but it should work. Secondly while playing Doom 64's port on my Xbox Series S, I soft locked the game and didn't have another save file so I have to restart this section of the game over. Yeah I know this is nothing compared to other shit in the world, but dammit I feel like posting about it here.

A few weeks ago former president Donald J. Trump was almost assassinated by 20 year old Thomas Matthew Crooks. While the popular duo Tenacious D was on tour in Australia, Kyle Gass made a insensitive joke about the attempted assassination. The two were kicked out of Australia, and Jack Black went to social media and informed fans that their tour was now canceled. Before he posted however, Kyle Gass posted an apology to Trump on Instagram but was quick to delete it after the cancellation of Tenacious D's tour by Black. Look I'm not a fan of Trump, but I also know that this tarnished the band's name and making a joke like Gass did went too far. Are you disappointed that Jack Black canceled their tour? Or do you believe he did the right thing? It's obvious that Kyle Gass doesn't give a fuck about the situation, since he deleted his apology so it's obvious he's pretty damn salty.

Mr. Beast's old friend Kris Ava Tyson has a secret that was leaked this past week. She's been known to talk to underage people online, and has commissioned work from the infamous Shadman. She's come out and addressed that she's staying offline, and Mr. Beast has cut all ties with her. I don't get why anyone associates with Shadman.
