Olympic Ceremony Backlash

During the opening ceremony for the Olympics we got to see the last supper being depicted by drag queens. Needless to say all the religious people got offended and felt that it was a parody of the last supper and it was mocking their religion. The performers say that this wasn't their intentions and they were just performing. I've been seeing religious friends on Facebook complaining about the ceremony and my local news pages have been sharing their articles about it.
